K. Bhattacharya – CEO

Amit
has over 7 years of business experience in the areas of business
management and sales and marketing. An accomplished medical
transcriptionist himself, he underwent training in MT at Mapro
Transoft, a company in Pune, from January to April 1999. He stood
first in the final MT test from among 180 candidates. From January
2000 to December 2000, he
|
worked
as a project manager for TransLogic, a subsidiary of SP Software Pvt.
Ltd., Pune, and set up their medical transcription unit from scratch.
In November 2000, he set up his own transcription firm, MedicoTrans
Pvt. Ltd. (www.MedicoTrans.com). Today, MedicoTrans Pvt. Ltd. is one
of India’s fastest-growing home-based medical transcription
companies, employing MT professionals from all over India.
Amit
is also an avid golfer, playing to a 9 handicap, and plays weekends
at the Poona Club Golf Course.

Garde– Director Operations

in Electronics, University of Pune, Director Operations. Kanchan has
over 5 years of experience as an MT and has been heading the
operations at MedicoTrans since 2003. Prior to that, Kanchan has
worked with five different companies handling diverse functions and
has gathered a wealth of knowledge and practical experience.

Mahesh
Menon – Vice President (Technical)

BSc.
in Physics and MA in Defense Studies, University of Pune. Mahesh also
was trained as an MT at Mapro Transoft. Mahesh joined MedicoTrans in
early 2001 and is a founding member of the company. Prior to that, he
worked in companies like Procter and Gamble and Gallup to name a few.

Medha Kurundwad – Vice President (Quality Control)

Bachelor
of Homeopathic Medicine, University of Pune, homeopath. Medha also
underwent MT training in Mapro Transoft. Medha joined MedicoTrans in
early 2001 and is also a founding member. Prior experience includes
10 years of practicing medicine and also heading a blood bank.

Ashish
K. Bhattacharya – Production In-Charge

Ashish
has 5 years of experience in medical transcription and oversees
day-to-day functioning of the production process. He is a whiz with
ESL doctors and doctors with difficult accents
